First son of Raymond George Baxter and
Diana Margaret Fraser Baxter (nee Armit).
Devoted husband of Sue (nee Tweed).
Survived by brothers Michael, Paul and Claude.
Dedicated friend, foster parent, godparent and mentor.

I leave my maiden name as my family (Taylor's) are all so sorry to learn of your loss and have such vivid memories and love for Chris (Melon, Fox, Cardinal Baxter). My brother Nic lives in USA and is out of touch but I know will send his love, my brother Matt also has lost touch with his friends but we all were touched by having Chris enter our lives in the 70's and send our love to his family. Chris made a claim on anyone he met and that was a simple exchange - "are you the best you can be?" He was my big brother when my brothers went overseas to climb - now I've lost my brothers and Chris too but I am a better person for rising to Chris's challenging questions, now my son is off to Geelong Grammar and Chris may hate that but he'll go into Francis Brown and have stories of men that changed the world to live up to. Chris will live on in my life, in all of our lives, may he rest, with all of our love, in peace. Emma
